EXTERIOR PAINTING

Pressure-wash complete exterior to remove mildew, pollen, and other contaminates to promote proper paint adhesion. Caulk around windows, doors, and any area where moisture may enter structure. Scrape and prime any areas of loose paint, and top coat with only top of line products.(Recommend Sherwin-Williams "Duration" acrylic coating). Scrape and wash exterior side of all windows upon completion of job.

INTERIOR PAINTING

All interior work begins with making a plan for protecting all furniture and floors prior to any work starting. All walls, ceilings, and trim to be spackled, caulked, and sanded where required to insure defect free surface prior to painting. All furniture to be moved out of the way to paint, then placed back in proper place after work completed. All products to be highest quality.(Recommend Sherwin-Williams "Super Paint", "Cashmere", or "Duration Home" grade paints).

DECK AND FENCE RESTORATION

Proper maintenance of fencing and decking can add value and appeal to your home. To restore a fence or deck to its natural beauty, requires a complete pressure-washing to remove dead wood fibers, mildew, and other contaminates. After allowing area to dry at least 24 hours, a high quality sealer is applied to extend life of job.

PRESSURE-WASHING

Mildew is an actual air bourne spore that attaches itself to your home, and can feed off your paint. An annual or bi-annual schedule of pressure-washing can greatly extend the life of your paint job. Pressure-washing can improve the appearance of vinyl siding, decks, fencing, sidewalks, and driveways. Colours Decorating pressure-washes all exteriors prior to painting.

SHEETROCK AND CEILING REPAIRS

Colours Decorating can take care of any drywall repairs on walls or ceilings. We also repair texture ceilings, and "fan in" new texture spray to blend in a repair. We can also scrape down, and respray the entire ceiling. If customer with texture ceilings wants them smooth, we can scrape them down, "skim" with joint compound, sand, and paint.

WALLPAPER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Colours Decorating will remove old wallpaper, repair walls where required, sand repaired areas, and prime repaired areas with bonding primer. Customer to decide whether to paint walls, or size walls in order to hang new wallcovering.

LIGHT CARPENTRY REPAIRS

During exterior painting process, areas of rotted wood, and loose boards are sometimes discovered. Colours Decorating can repair all these items as well as interior areas such as window/door casings, and baseboards. Customer will be made aware of these needed repairs, and will agree with extra charges prior to any repair work to proceed.
